On September 16, 2011, the first composting system at John Eager Howard School in Reservoir Hill got underway. The school now has worm bins, and the effort got started underway on "Parking Day" with vermiculture (worm composting) presentations to teachers and students in pre-K -- 2nd grade. The students had the opportunity to put compost into the bins and see the worms in action.
